In this painting, I brought together the two sacred sights that will one day stand side by side once again: the Kosel as it exists today, and the Beis Hamikdash in the place where it will rise when the geulah comes. The composition may be abstract, but the placement is exact — the Beis Hamikdash is painted precisely where it belongs, overlooking the Kosel below, just as described in our mesorah.

If you look closely, you’ll see people davening at the Kosel and others approaching the Beis Hamikdash above — a single, continuous flow of tefillah stretching from our present into our promised future. The gold paint reflects the light beautifully, evoking the radiance of kedushah that has never dimmed and never will.

This piece expresses a core belief in my work: that our history, our longing, and our future redemption are all connected. Painting this vision allowed me to hold onto that hope with both hands — and to share a glimpse of the world we are waiting for.
